Exothermics

These are highly reactive, heat-generating chemical compounds designed to function as insulating hot-top and anti-piping materials. Upon contact with molten metal, they exhibit rapid and efficient heat liberation, creating effective thermal insulation.

The application of exothermic materials enhances thermal retention, maintains a consistent temperature gradient, prolongs the influence of atmospheric pressure, and significantly improves metal feeding efficiency, thereby minimizing shrinkage-related defects and improved casting soundness
